How the visit works
- Find out whyA rocking or leaking your area toilet is usually the flange, not the toilet. Pulling it is the only way to know.
- Lift and inspectWe pull the bowl, check the flange, the subfloor and the drain opening.
- Repair the base problemBroken flanges get repaired or replaced. Soft subfloor gets called out honestly, even when it is not our trade.
- Reset and sealNew wax ring or waxless seal, new bolts, set level and shimmed so it does not move again.
- Test properlyMultiple flushes, a dye check on the tank, and a dry floor before we leave.

Questions about toilet repair
Why does my toilet keep running?
Nine times out of ten it is a worn flapper or a fill valve that no longer shuts off cleanly. A running toilet can waste hundreds of gallons a day, so a $185 repair in North Carolina usually pays for itself quickly.
My toilet overflows when the washing machine drains. Why?
That is a main line problem, not a toilet problem. The toilet is simply the lowest opening in the North Carolina house, so a blocked main pushes water back up through it.
Should I repair or replace the toilet?
Internal parts are cheap and worth replacing. A cracked tank, a cracked bowl, or a low-flow model from the 1990s that never flushed properly is worth replacing outright.
Why does my toilet rock?
Either the flange sits below finished floor level or the closet bolts have pulled loose. Shimming alone hides it; we fix the flange so the seal stops breaking.
Do you take the old toilet away?
Yes, removal and disposal is included in every North Carolina toilet replacement we do.
